Gilliam County

“A unique, yet iconic design for the stickers and post cards, of our County treasures: Wheat, Wind, the Columbia River and a breathtaking view of the mountains.  Thank you Ava, for delivering just what we asked for and more!”

County judge, cris patnode

Gilliam County was in need of marketing materials for the Association of Oregon Counties conference in Salem, Oregon. This design was inspired by patchwork quilts and stained glass art. I wanted to include symbols of the best traits of the area; a smallmouth bass to represent recreation, an awn of wheat to represent agriculture, a windmill to represent renewable energy, and a handshake to represent the strength of the community.
